Lilly Pulitzer and Target

You know what they say: a picture speaks a thousand words. So I’m including thirteen of them! Yesterday was quite snowy. I spent a little bit of time walking around with Teddy in Central Park (these are amazing) and then hunkered down inside to get some serious work done before my trip to Caneel Bay. I had to go downtown for a quick meeting and it was so cold and windy and still flurrying that I decided to skip this event I had scheduled at night. Then I realized (thanks to Twitter) that it was the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collaboration launch and you better believe I threw on a cute outfit and cabbed to midtown to get a peek. (Can’t believe I almost missed it!)
It was like walking into paradise, for more than one reason. The whole showroom felt like Palm Beach! And let’s cut to the chase here… the collection is GOOD. Really, really good. See for yourself:

– @LillyforTarget: A fun Instagram account for the collection filled with sneak peeks and fun facts

– 250: The number of pieces in the collection (aka this is going to be huge), including clothing, accessories, and shoes for women (including plus size!!!!) and girls. Plus little things for the house, outdoor entertaining, the beach, and travel.

OMG! I screamed when I saw your post! I just wonder how the prices will be different? Target is pretty cheap, and definitely not quite on Lilly's level!

I'm glad you went and am able to see some pictures besides on the IG account.

I'll be there the day it opens, obv., but I wonder how Mrs. Pulitzer would feel about the collaboration.

I am so excited for this collection. Sadly, I will be out of the country when its released and have already begged my mother to take me around target on FaceTime!
