Are you guys prepared for National Wear Your Lilly Day this Sunday? Falling perfectly on the first day of summer, this is the best day to pull out all the stops with your Lilly! I say it’s time to go big or go home– wear your brightest and Lilliest of all your Lillys.
I was just too excited for this Sunday and decided to be a little bolder than usual and wear this bright shift today in the city. It ended up being the perfect decision as the weather today was hot, hot, hot. Even though I grew up in Florida where temperatures were nearly always in the nineties, it pales in comparison to a hot day in NYC where the air gets trapped between buildings and you have to walk 15 minutes from the subway to your meeting.
This new take on the shift dress is my favorite (I wore a similar version last year). The fit is universally flattering with a lower back, perfect length, and darting around the chest. Plus, you can show off the cutest zipper pull… I love the starfish on this one.

Absolutely love that shift and print! I love your subtle accessories! Unfortunately on the 21st I'll be working (I work at a ballpark) so I'm not sure how much I will be able to incorporate Lilly, but I definitely can't wait as the months are getting warmer!

Ahhh, Samba is such a cute print! I'll definitely be taking full advantage of the day on Sunday. Since it's Father's Day I'll be wearing my newest dress (a Janice in Green Heartbreakers) to church with my dad and then to lunch honoring my father in law 🙂
